Meet Krista
Hi there! I’m Krista Hasson, a professional artist and the creator of Master Watercolor Essentials.
As a self-taught artist, I know the value of sharing what you know. After spending years learning on my own, I have designed a step-by-step system to learn how to master the essential techniques needed to paint with watercolor. I love to share my knowledge by teaching online to help others grow and experience the joy of art.
I live in Rothesay, New Brunswick, with my husband and two cats. As a child, I spent many memorable weekends in the country with my grandparents. There, I developed a powerful connection and appreciation for nature. It is that connection with the natural world and memories from a simpler time that fuel my insatiable creativity.
My watercolors have brought me international recognition. The International Artists magazine published my painting “Show Stopper” along with an article when I was a top 10 finalist in their floral and garden painting competition. I have had my artwork licensed by Rogers Chocolates for their chocolate tins.
I continue to show and sell my work through the galleries that represent me. You will find me in my studio every day as I am not just passionate about creating and teaching; I am dedicated to it.
